Keisha J. McClain, Ed.S. known as an international trainer and consultant. She has provided training and technical assistance for two of the United States largest, high quality multifaceted Early Childhood Educational entities. By overseeing multimillion-dollar grants, she is privileged to work with Head Start and Military Child and Youth Programs. Her professional background and experiences consist of over 18 years working with educators and children in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
She has served as Infant-Toddler and Early Childhood Education Specialist, Region IV Head Start T/TA provider, Director, Executive Board Member, and College Professor. She takes pride in delivering tailor-made services that meet the need of the beginner to the seasoned practitioner. In addition, Keisha enjoys providing professional development as a self-reflection process to content specialists, educators, managers, and families that lay the foundation to prepare young children with the tools needed to succeed in the classroom and society.

Freda Carter, MS, RD, RDN, CAWM, has eight years of experience conducting Head Start/Early Head Start Federal Reviews and consulting/training services for HS/EHS/FCC/AIAN programs for over 20 years. Her nickname in the business of Head Start/Early Head Start is "EAGLE EYE CARTER" because of how she conducts environmental health and safety inspections and observations. In addition, Ms. Carter has developed 80 plus therapeutic menus on a monthly basis for Head Start/Early Head Start for children with chronic and acute diseases, including severe food allergies.
As a former adjunct instructor, she understands how the early years are the formative years for young children. Ms. Carter is keenly aware of grantees' challenges and has consulted with programs in North and South Carolina, Georgia, New York, California, and Virginia, to name a few. She has assisted with writing grants and developed plans, policies and procedures, and health and nutritional protocols for agencies. Additionally, Ms. Carter has conducted parent and teacher workshops and training and in - pre-service training. She has collaborated with a Nurse-Family Partnership to address the needs of pregnant mothers, conducting bi-monthly follow-ups. She has also mentored nursing students during their community rotations. She was the chairperson for an Oral Health Initiative and the primary liaison who developed several oral health brochures used today for parents. Ms. Carter has mentored students at several universities.
